     Hi,
     
      What would be the exact difference between the UV and Skylight 
     filters in use?  I have heard several times that you don't want to use 
     Skylight on the Nikon lenses because it would change the color 
     rendition.  I normally use both for protection purposes.
      If Leitz thought that filters were not necessary, why did they sell 
     them with Leitz name?
