Subject: Special Edition M6's

Speak to the dealers. Many get 'stuck' with unsold 'special edition' M6's
and are very wary of these.

They sell, to a very small market. Leica normally overproduces. The world
market for these seems to be around 1200 to 1500 cameras, but the Gnomes of
Solms invariably run these at 2,000 or 3,000 examples. Thus, the dealers
are more than a bit suspicious of these 'special editions.'

Don't invest. It doesn't work. If you're not going to shoot with it,
don't buy.
