This I really do not understand (not your statement, the fact that this was
not a popular lens) why. I had both a 280 APO 2.8 and a 350 4.8 . After a
few years, I sold the 280 and kept the 350. It is a NICE lens. Very sharp.
Easy to handle. And I use it with the 2x APO extender to get 700mm. I found
I was using the 350 far more than the 280, and my wife liked carrying it
better as well ;-) . Don't discount the 350. It is a Leica lens. And has
all of the traits of a Leica lens. Mechanical and optical excellence.
