That is a major consideration. But you don't have to use the motor for
burning lots and lots of film. The advantage of a motor is even more
important in two other areas. First, not having to thumb to the next frame
can help you keep the camera steady and avoid shake. Second of all, the
camera is ready again faster than most people (Ted and his rapid winder
excepted) can do it by hand, so in case you see something right after you
took the previous picture, the camera is ready. But if you do it too often,
up go the film/processing budgets!

So take more pictures, and sell them to the parents of the other kids and
pay for some or all of your expenses!
