I just sent my Leica (plastic) 21 finder back from whence it came, and have
just received a Japanese-made finder imported by Bower (it's the one Adorama
sells with their "generic" 21mm Leica-mount lens). The finder is HUGE
compared to the Leica (it's round, and the front element fits an older 39mm
Leica lenscap, to give some idea of the size) but the payoff is the image is
also huge and bright. And, it's ALL METAL and finished in
Leica-lookalike-satin chrome with "21mm" neatly engraved and blacked-in on
top. For $200 new it works for me!
