Extrapolating such different lenses is not a good idea. They are extremely
different in their makeup. 35mm fast lenses are much harder to design than
50mm lenses, and the 35 Summilux I believe is a much newer design. It came
out in the '84 Photokina. I don't remember when the 50 did, but I believe
it was at least 4 or five years before, and someone told me once that it's
the same optical formula as the series 7 (6?) version which goes way back.
