Jay Coleman & David,

                               >>It is fine, as Tom Donovan will attest<<

I compared the R-80 f1.4 & the R-90 f2 ( at last :~) & my cursory "usage"
conclusions were as follows: 1.) At f2 the R-80 f.14 seems sharper than
the "cron" at f2. 2.) Both are quite contrasty; however, there's a special
"glow" that the R-80 1.4 had over the "cron". All work was done at approx.
3.5 to 4.5 feet in indirect light.

Even at f1.4 the Summilux slides were beautiful. It may be that the
"cron"is more optimized for infinity work ( I did not use these lenses in
that range ) & there is a certain "plasticity" that the "cron" portraits
have;
however, working in the portrait range, the 80 f.14 slides were
beautiful! Might it have better "bokeh"?

More grist to the "Summilux mill" ;~)
