You did exactly the right thing if the bags were fully sealed, like
Zip-Lock brand bags do. As the equipment warms up the relative humidity
inside the plastic bags goes down and there will be absolutely no
condensation on the internal camera parts. This is the correct procedure
when bringing in a cold camera into a warm place.
