Hans (thanks for your good wishes), 

You exactly name the point on which we suffer most of the times ... that action 
changes too rapidly. And, although the M is a very fine example of
craftsmanship,
she's slower than an R/SL in the action with lenses above 35 mm, unfortunately.

Still wonder, how HCB or Eisenstadt succeeded to take some of their very
special 
pix - with screw mount Leicas and 2 different windows for RF and viewer.

I agree on the outstanding sharpness of the 1.4/35 asph Summilux at f 1.4 or 
f 2.0, I have some fine examples myself. And let's not forget both examples
on Eric's web site, which show the asph. Summilux's performance really
persuading also. I just wished, there was a Noctilux comparision example
of his violence.jpg at f 1.0 also, or a corresponding 1.4/75 Summilux
pic at f 1.4. But, that would be unreasonable and injust to the very situation, 
of course.
