Yes, and no. Is that the really the  problem, or just the symptoms of
the problem?

It seems to me that the real  problem is under capitalization, bad
engineering, bad  design, and bad  management.  None of these problems
should ever have happened, and would not have happened if Leica
management was living up to the Leica reputation of excellence.

A perfect R8 motor should have been on the shelves and sold with the
first production R8.

Anything else is just bullshit excuses from inadequate Leica management.
