If you are keep the M6 and put the RE away for awhile. As for the RE vs Nikon, you will definately not like the feel of the camera, more plastic. The optics are good but will not equal that of the M6 and if you manually focus the AF Nikors, the helix will feel like there is no resistance. If you can, rent a 100 APO Macro and try it out, as for the Novoflex try a 350 f4.8 Telyt or 280F4 APO Telyt instead. I am sure you will be happier with these lenses. Al
