Hi Jim,

Well you no me,  I don't believe in UV filters! ;) But it landed sort of
flat to the floor and had a monopod attached.

But the lens was OK as I think they make them out of regurjated Tiger tank
steel left over from WW2! :)

But the old heart sure went pitty pat as I saw it going in a slow motion 
like effect, you don't believe you were watching it happen. :)

But it was fine, no binds or nicks, it just was my day with the guy
upstairs looking after me. :)
