I have version three of the f4.8/Telyt 280, serial no. 23411xx, but just
the head 11904, which is fitted to an R Televit rapid-focusing mount
14146 via adapter 14138. See, James A. Lager, Volume II - Lenses, at
page 218. Lager shows a 11904 head, serial no. 2341520, which he
identifies as 1969 manufacture.

With the shoulder stock you can hand hold it, and it is easy to use. I
also use this combination with the 2X converter on the tripod. It gives
great shots. The only drawback is it look like a Uzi submachine gun with
the shoulder stock on or off. Around public buildings, a 280 Telyt
mounted on the Televit-R with the shoulder stock would no doubt draw
official attention, so it is a "county" lens combination.
