Subject: [Leica] red dot on M6 0.85 packaging...??

Someone here said that the red dot on the plastic used to wrap
the M6 0.85 body means that it is a demo.  Is this true?  My new
M6 0.85 has such a red dot on the plastic, but it did not have any
piece of paper notice or any circle by the serial number.
