Subject: [Leica] Tamron suggestions

Because of budgetary disease which can afflict many of us L-lovers, I am
curious to hear commentary on some of Tamron's big four superb lenses. Has
anyone on the LUG used:

	SP 17 f3.5
	SP 90 f2.5
	SP 180 f2.5LD
SP 300 f2.8LD - in this case only the new version(dark grey) or the 2nd
version (green). The first version (light grey) was not reputed
to be that great.

My thought is that the 17 and 180 make great stop-gap lenses until the
Leica equivalent can be afforded, so how about sharing your experiences
with the rest of us!

Thanks,

James
