Were your Novoflex lenses thread-mount or bayonet-mount? The thread-mount
lenses ARE rather elderly, being Steinheil lenses, and they went west in
'58 or so. But the bayonet-mount lenses are more modern designs by Dr
Staeble, and I haven't a problem with THEIR quality!

The Novoflex marriage with Leica only extends, I believe, to their Leica
offerings. The rest of the line remains Staeble offerings.
