Guido,

To the best of my knowledge:

First 35-70/3,5 = Minolta Lens design , made by Minolta in Japan,
but with Leitz specification.

Current 35-70/3,5 = Minolta Lens design , made by Leica in Germany

New, current, 35-70/4 = Leica design made by Kyocera in Japan.

First 28/70 3.5-4.5 = Sygma Lens design, made by Sygma
but with Leica specification.

Current 28/70 3.5-4.5 = Sygma lens design (?),
made by Kyocera in Japan, with Leica specification.
