With my M6HM, and the 35mm frame line showing, if I look at the rangefinder
patch in the center of the frame, my peripheral vision can see the entire
frame, as well as a bit beyond it, and I don't have to squish my eyevall
right up against the eyepiece. I have no problem whatsoever.

However, if I aim my eye at the right edge of the frame, for instance, then
I have difficulty seeing the left frame, and vice versa, but if I fiddle
the position of the camera, I find that I CAN see the whole frame at all
times, but just barely.

Perhaps this is a variable depending on different people's eyesight. By
all means, if this is a potential problem for you, look through an HM
before committing yourself (to buying the camera, that is)

I don't wear glasses, by the way.
