Hi, Nathan and other Luggers;

I've bought a number of things over eBay, and haven't experienced outright fraud. Usually everything goes very well; their policy of publishing satisfaction ratings for buyers and sellers
tends to keep people honest. A couple of times I've had problems, which I attribute to ignorance or carelessness on the part of the seller; the only time it was bad enough for me to react (a
small scratch in a lens of a Minolta 110 Zoom camera), I was able to get it resolved quickly. The other times I've had problems I haven't seen fit to pursue them. I just bought a VERY
inexpensive Polaroid and it turned out to have a broken strap, and I recently bought an Olympus Pen which was advertised as a rangefinder and actually was a model with scale focusing... but
it was also inexpensive.

I'm comfortable enough with them to continue buying equipment (one of my most recent purchases was a Contax IIa in beautiful shape!), but I'd certainly rather be able to look at something
before I buy it.
