Some years back, a Los Angeles man, Lee Beeder made an inexpensive
screw in adapter for the "M"s that allowed the then $12 Nikon diopters to
be used instead of the hard to locate expensive Leitz diopters. I remember
that I needed a -1 instead of my normal -2 as I was told that the Leica came
with a built in either -.05 or -1.

Beeder only made these as a part time job & he was also a Tachihara Distrb.
Does anyone have more information about him or his diopters?
