Not at all.  I too am a schraubleica user.  The M cameras while attractive from a lens availability
point of view have failed to hold my interest like the older leica cameras.

The SBOOI is a good finder.  I would rate it better than an M viewfinder.  The frame is very easily
visible the image is very bright.  As it is precisely x1 magnification it can be used with both eyes open.
Doing this the viewfinder disappears.  Ones eyes work normally but there is a bright frame "floating
in space".  This makes for very comfortable photography.  I highly recommend it.
