Subject: [Leica] Epson printers

I've gotta add my praise for the new Epson printers. I've got the EX wich is a
step up from the 700 in that it prints11x17's and has more software. The
prints are pretty much undistinguishable from lab prints, especially when
printed on the glossy photo film papers (I like canon's). These are going to
be common tools among photographers. We have a fujix at work and I think this
is a bit superior.
Also, at the photo expo in Anaheim last weekend the Epson rep showed me their
new "Photo Paper" that's just about as good as the photo film, and cheaper.
11x17 sheets will be about a dollar (when they come out next month), which is
gonna make my print portfolio quite a bit cheaper to produce. I've also
started refilling my own cartridges. First try a success. Reduces cost to $3-4
a refill.
