Leitz were perfectly happy just to make straight trayed projectors until   
the N. American market insisted otherwise...

The Pradovit RT300(?) (RT = Round Tray) was the result which might well   
have been manufactured outside of Wetzlar, though of course the lenses   
came from there. And this took trays in the normal Kodak Carousel   
fashion, rather than in a Ferris Wheel fashion.
