Try the (old) Leitz variable viewfinder with settings for 35 and 50mm   
bundled into one package, and as a bonus, you get frames up to 135mm as   
well! Bulky but it works well.

[Leica] Using M lenses on CLE - viewfinder lines

Can anyone recommend a solution for framing photos while using M lenses
(35mm and 50mm) on a CLE  (given the standard frames are only slightly
close ie, 28mm and 40mm)?  Many thanks.
