I would like to second this question. Apart from considerations about
price and the extra f-stop, which of the two 50mm lenses (Summicron or
new Summilux) gives the best "raw performance"? I realize the two lenses
cannot be fully compared, but still...
I am using the Summicron 50 and am very satisfied with it, it is clearly
better than my Nikon AI 50/1.8 at larger apertures. Would the new
Summilux 50 give me any visible advantage as far as image quality is
concerned?
