Bill,
Hello again! I have come to the conclusion that just about everything is a
touchy subject to members of the LUG! They only thing we all seem to agree
uopn, to one extent or another, is that Leicas are a superb camera. We have
advocates of Ms, Rs, and LTM, and they all seem equally passionate!
I enjoy the banter, and I think that I have learned something from many of
the posts, even the off-the-wall, oddball, or even weird ones. A FAQ is a
wonderful Idea, and would help a lot- I am surprised that there are not more
FAQs out there for user groups. For example, I was interested in what it
would take to make a 4x5 camera, and found a FAQ that had everything from
making pinholes to bellows!
I think a FAQ which included articles about VISOFLEXs, and other
attachments, and their use would help a lot! I am often confused by BEWOOs,
NOOKYs, and such- for a time I thought a ZORKI was a Leica attachment! I
know Marc has written files that are used as FAQs on other sites, as I have
read them with great interest. I think the collective efforst of even a few
of us would make for a VERY interesting FAQ!
