Thanks for the superb article.  It clears up many misconceptions regarding
Leica lenses and their design.  A number of years ago in America, a TV
commercial for a brokerage firm (I believe EF Hutton) depicted groups of
people stopping in mid sentence to hear the latest investment tip.  Well,
your article contains so many pearls of wisdom that we should all drop
whatever we are doing and commit it to memory.  Thanks!
