Sorry, I can't tell you because I have neverh had access to the older 
Super Angulon 21/4.0, but according to all literature I have come across, 
the latest (second) version of the Elmarit 19/2.8 should beat it.

Well well. My reply was an aswer to the question on "best R lenses from 
24 to 50" and not meant as the start of a new off-topic debate on super 
wide angle lenses.
