The total difference in cost between Zeiss and Leica lenses listed in the previous post placed the Leicas a culmative $14,400 higher. So even considering this lens the Leicas cost a good deal more than the comparable Zeiss lenses. Unless a 300 f/2.8 is the only lens you plan to buy. Difference no longer nullified :-) Larry
