>According to Universal Press Syndicate, Sony Corp. will modify its popul=
ar
Handycam video camera after a Japanese magazine revealed that a $7 filter
used with the lens's infrared feature could enable users to see underneat=
h
the clothing of lightly dressed people. An Associated Press reporter
likened the effect to seeing a body through a thin curtain rather than
viewing someone nude, but that did not stop a brief run on the cameras

The story is funny but totally false according to the french review
Chasseur d'images (n=B0 207, p.168 : "the summer rumor").They have tested=
 the
cam with a female model and the result is not convincing. They say that if
you want to see the anatomy of the model, you had better ask a favour of
her ! =20
