Subject: [Leica] Kodak IR film in M6

I've just bought some Kodak HIE and a Lee 87C
filter which I intend to use with my M6. I've not
used the opaque filters before and I'm a bit unsure
about how to expose. I assume the meter in the
M6 is not as responsive to IR as the film, so I'll
need to use a handheld meter? What ISO do I
set on the meter?

Are there any other gotchas with this combination?
I've only tried one roll of the Kodak IR film before
which was not a total success (!) so I didn't bother
with it again.

Any hints appreciated!

Simon.
