Best way is to send it to Leica or one of the recommended independents
who have factory tools.  The old eyepiece can be unscrewed with a pliers
but why destroy it?  There's a special tool that Leica has for it.  The
new one screws back in.  I think they use a bit of thread-locking
compound on it, because I don't think the tool can apply sufficient force
to the rubber.  That's just an educated guess.
