My wife is from England and she grew up on fried bread. Fried in pork
drippings. Yuck!

Even though she wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole today, she still
laments "how good it was." Laments because even though it was so good, it
is possibly the worst possible food(?) for the human body.
