It is likely an alignment problem.
There are alignment tools sold by
various folks.
You will also need wrenches, various
washers, and patience.

Among the group I move in, there is an
"englarger alignment comittee"  You always
need 3 folks.  1 to look at the funky alingment
too.  1 to tighten loosen screws, stuff in washers,
etc.  1 to restrain the owner from throwing the
enlarger into the nearest body of water
in frustration.
