	Re: OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHER
	and related "outdoor" magazines.

1 / The ONE totally outstanding "outdoor"
and "wildlife" magazine that must have a real
brilliant chief editor is called "BIOSPHERE".
	Consistently impressive: the articles are
real science, the graphic arts noteworthy,
but it's the photography and generous sizes
	that makes this magazine.
I once wrote, here, i'd post the address
but neglected to do so. I hope to amend
	by tomorrow.

2 / Since printing and graphic arts are
a few of my other hobbies, i've been
	checking magazines that would TEACH
from their excellence, the excellence of the
	advertising, too.

In photography proper, the ultimate magazine
	definitely is "SELECT" from Germany.
	C$20 monthly, A3 vertical size.
	Photography you'll DROOL over :
the subjects, the technique, the execution proper.
No cheap paper, either. Worth every penny.
	It has a "professional photographer"
self promotion or "exposure" dimension to it
worth mentioning, in the way of "support the
	photo community" components.

Other places i keep learning from are:
Vogue, Vanity Fair, Seventeen, Muy (Spain), GEO,
Playboy (corny to some but then just try to
beat the level of photography in there,
hat's not entering a discussion of their
	reproduction / printing excellence),
	and catalogs and product literature.

Two magazines that have gone down
in photographic excellence are: National Geographic
and LIFE. Stock photography is much better
than what these have been using, on average,
	in the last few years.

Rolling Stone fades compared to British Rock
	and "Pop" mags, photo wise.

Vertical markets mags can be outstanding,
the snowboard, sailing, and cruise marketing
magazines strhigh grades where i'm concerned.

Finally, corporate calendars of Euro brand
names can be shockingly good, often.

I hope you would post magazines titles
we should check out, photo wise.
Seems collectible mags are becoming a rarity.
