Subject: [Leica] The Leica Mystique

Any pj worth his/her salt knows that Leica blows the competition away when
it comes to producing superior fotos. I know of an editor who insists on
his pjs using only Leica equipment. Why? It's a given that the mystique
of Leicas conveys professionalism, and he realizes the importance of
perceived value. Leicas produce far superior esthetic results and capture
better "decisive moments". He also says that gold-plating a Leica enhances
the appearance of subjects by giving them a reverent "glow" . . . improving
somewhat on the mysterious "boken" of Leica lenses, if you will.
