Ok, not to be rude, Nigel, but again:

The CONTAX g1-g2 AIN't A GODDAMN MANUAL RFDR!!!
Electronically timed shutter (CLE) >MIGHT< be OK, as would 
an "A" mode -- but that's it. 

There, I feel better. My apology for my (totally IN character) 
outburst...
