    Sure, you say this here, but will you allow such deviation from
    YOUR charter on YOUR Rollei list ?  ;-)

    All kidding aside, why do you all think that the LUG is such a
politically
    oriented (and very verbose) photography group ?  Is there another
    photography oriented list, bboard, newsgroup that comes
    even close in this respect ?

    Is it because we are too idle ?    Are politically passioned
photographers
    (pro & amateur) more  predisposed to use Leica ?  Does Leica, because
    of its high price,  cult status, photographic legacy, functionality
attract
    both the yuppy/collector/materialist and the photojournalist/socially
    oriented/communist/anarchist, which are often diametrically opposite
    on the political spectrum and thus causes more sparks than usual ?
