I have RRS plates on everything that will take an RRS plate. I cut one in
half and mounted it on my M6/Abrahamsson winder. It is neither in my way,
nor in the winder lever's way. And it's centered. This is VERY convenient.
I really don't even know it is there. It is totally unobtrusive. But when I
want the camera on a tripod, it just snaps on! Quick as a wink.

Now all I need is an Abrahamsson Soft Release with a cable release hole
through the center. Then I'd be in "fat city!"

Tom???

PS... you all know that I bought the M camera as a carry around, hand held,
photograph anything, anytime, anywhere camera. But every once in awhile,
you need max DOF. It takes a tripod to get this.
