We are forming a group of 40 to 50 for this trip. We have made arrangements with Continental Airlines for special fares from Newark Intl to Frankfurt. Hotel accommodations in Wetzlar have also been arranged. The schedule of events includes a guided tour of the historic sites of Wetzlar given by Lars Netopil, VP of Leica Historica, a tour of the Leica factory in Solms, a trip to Staufenberg to meet with members of Leica Historica (the German Leica society) for their regular meeting including swap meet. A trip into Frankfurt is also planned for spouses. A registration fee of $150 is required for each participant. Deadline for trip registration is January 1, 1999. LHSA membership also required.
