bad guys stories?" Unwittingly or otherwise?

In my case I was the "bad guy," an interesting experience. It was in the
60's when Viet Nam, peace marches, protests, etc were going on. I was very
involved in the anti-war movement, and used to go to demonstrations,
marches, and the like. I noticed that I kept getting my photo taken by a
casually-dressed man using a camera on a tripod. I took pictures of almost
everyone who went by. Later I was told that I was a Los Angeles police
officer. I have no way of knowing of the man was a policeman, or what. But
he did seem to be docummenting the people who attended.
I wonder if I am still in a file somewhere, and what that file cost to
produce. When did I get too boring to keep track of?A sure sign of advancing
age!
Hate to think how my hair must have looked.
