I don't mind the correction; in fact (note quote below from my intial
post) I defered to others' knowledge due to my lack of expertise in the
question.  I was going on the premise that Leica would be at least as
user-friendly as Nikon, of whose 3 different 1.4x multipliers at least
one can be bought to match almost any of their lenses.  What a ridiculous
assumption that was on my part.  Looks like the person will have to spend
a few more thousands and carry a bag full of lenses...but of course,
they'll be *Leica* lenses so *no* sacrifice or inconvenience is too
great, right?
