Subject: [Leica] Re: Am I Wrong ? or Steve McCurry's photograph

There's an extensive portfolio of Steve McCurry's work in the last Nikon
World magazine, all shot with a Nikon FM2 or N90s. Though it's possible he
may also use other equipment, the results of which Nikon World chose not to
show.

The haunting photo of the Afghan refugee which Phong mentions is in the
magazine. It was shot with an FM2 and 105 mm f/2.5 Nikkor.

Hi Dick,

    I too saw the picture.

I don't know about Nikon equipment, but the picture of the Afghan
refugee with her beautiful, piercing, haunting eyes, is certainly
Steve
McCurry's. It graces the cover of National Geographic The Photographs.
(Is she looking into the conscience of mankind ?). I wonder if Steve
McCurry/Nikon/National Geographic secured a model release to use
her picture in this commercial advertisement.
