No. Very, very few photographers to come close to approaching Gene Smith's
effort in Minimata, which is arguably his most successful project. It
actually was so important to him that he cut his attitude way back to get
it published. But his mastery of his essay style was there. And I'd say
there are two or three people in the world, that I know of, who could equal it.
