had 2 R6.2s until trade for Nikons whose lenses are easier to focus with
fingers afflicted with arthritis.  6.2's make most intriguing cacophony
of sounds, also quite prone to effect of mirror bounce and was told
special attachment needed to activate mechanism which locks mirror in
upward position.  Nikon FM2ns which replaced R6.2s much quieter and can
feel much less recoil shock, also mirror released at start of self timer
so vibrations dissipate before shutter released.  TTL flash of R6.2
sorely missed with macro lens however.  FM2n has 250 flash syncronization
but would rather TTL.  have purchased flash light meter but  manual
calculation of extension factor is most unwelcome burden.
