Byron, all 50 Summicrons from 1954 to date (maybe even summitars, 
I don't remember) EXCEPT those with built in hoods WILL take the 
"vented" hoods....even the screwmounts!  Whether they "came" with 
the "vented" hood or not, it'll fit and work fine.....

Of course not the current one with built in hood...I think it's the 
only one that won't take it.
