     I agree.  Absolutely.  There is no necessary, mutual exclusion here.  
     HCB is often called a photojournalist, but he's also a great artist.

The best news photographers are as concerned with form as artists, 
sometimes more! Sebastiao Salgado talks about using the beauty of a 
photograph to attract the viewer, and then while studying the beautiful 
photograph, catching the message. Which may not be so beautiful.
