Has anyone ever tried a brighter bulb in their V35? I am doing 16x20
Ilfochromes through Velvia, a well "saturated" film which gives glorious
colors on the print, but takes really long exposures. In fact, most
exposures are around two minutes at f4 and some burn in sections take as
long as five minutes!

The bulb is new (I have tried three new bulbs), no haze in the lens, and I
am getting well into the reciprocity failure area of Ilfochrome paper. The
prints I do get are very sharp, colors look vibrant, I just seem to be over
the limits of practical use of the V35. Any ideas?

Congrats, Mary, on getting out some good prints on your new V35!
