I just found a great case for my M2 gear. It was made by (of all people)
Leica sometime back in the dark ages. It is solid leather and with a little
stitching repair is as solid as ever. It has a removeable insert that holds
an M body, (with or without an external meter) a 135mm lens, a 90mm lens, a
35mm lens with eyes and two 50mm or shorter lenses, one on the camera. 3 of
the lenses are carried by rear lens caps which are mounted on the insert.
It has slots for 5 filters, clamps to hold 3 rolls of film a flat inside
pocket and a larger covered pocket on the outside plus more room inside. It
flips open while hanging from the shoulder strap so you have easy access to
everything inside. Its too bad they don't make these anymore. It is a
masterpiece of compact design.
