Half of the day yesterday I am struggling with the Palm Pilot People. At
the Apple site they refer you to them because Apple has kissed off all
its software expect Filmmaker and the software thing is called Filemaker
not Claris.
Meanwhile I have all my contacts, appointments, tasks, birthdays, notes
on Claris Organizer which hasn't been updated in years and seems
precariously poised for a major system conflict.
The Palm pilot I understand has become Mac friendly and I could buy one
tomorrow. I won't have to make something up when asked the asked the
exact time of day, f stop and so on on some print or slide.
Finding any trace on their website of the former Claris Organizer was
impossible for me in over a half an hour. Finding any trace on
contacting the company so I could ask: "has Claris Org been upgraded and
how much" was impossible. I had several Emails rejected, returned, no
such... not all blanks filled.
Never have I run into a comply which plainly did not want my money no
matter how much I tried to give it to them.
I thought" Hey I'll just post this general question and find out what's
going on, then I realized Post to whom this is not a Leica issue you
can't just post something to the world.
Then you posted this indication that the Palm Pilot (a suggestible
hysterically funny name) has been discussed on the Lug.
So here is this! HElP
